I hate the relays anyway, they always go bad. Just hardwire the ballast directly into the cars wiring. Who cares if the wires cannot handle the load and start a fire.

Curious as to why there is a relay? Because there is already a relay from the light switch in the interior. No?

It should be as simple as pulling the stock bulbs, cutting the wires, properly splicing the factory wires to the wires coming from the balasts, intalling new bulbs into headlight housing, plugging in bulbs to harness's on balasts'.

Good choice on the 6K.

Brandon

Hawaii,
All the HID kits I have ever purchased always came with a relay system due to this thinking that the voltage the HID system pulled was too great for the factory wiring to handle. Thus they had you run wires directly from the battery to the ballasts and then use the factory light wiring as the switch part of the relay to activate the HID system. After the relay went bad after about 6-9 months a couple times I just got mad and cut out that part of my wiring and have not looked back since.

Power & Ground, I believe is what you are looking at in the directions... those 2 wires should be tapped into your factory wiring for the lowbeam. OR soldering and shrink wrapped for a more tasteful permanent look and feel.

Do u guys see the last pic,

this is the part that confuses me,

I understand that the black wire must be ground but where does the red wire
hook up, maybe to the wire coming to the oem lights

In the last pic, the one end with the plug should go into the ballast, on the other end with the red & black wires, they should be tied into (preferably by solder and heat shrink) into your factory low beam wiring, color coordinated or course.
You can opt to purchase a male 9006 plug so your HID kit would be plug and play instead of hacking up the factory harness...

Yes the red wire goes to the OEM light harness...

so what u saying is to ground the black ones and maybe get a male 9006 plug and have the red one solderd to it , next plug it to my oem plug ,

right?

also by oem wire you mean the very plug hooked to the oem bulb , right/

thanks man

you guys are good.

If you look at your factory plug for you low beams or 9006, plug you will notice one is black, one is red. Looking at the pictures you posted there is also a red and black wire. Connect them together by

A: Cutting the cars 9006 plug and "HARDWIRING" the ballast plug into the car.

B: Go out and purchase a male 9006 Plug (contact xenondepot.com or xenonfactory.com) wire the ballast plug to the male 9006 plug, red to red, black to black then plug into your factory wiring.

When I say OEM wire I mean the RED and BLACK wires that are pinned to the plug that goes directly into the stock low beam bulb.

Ya got me?
