I have seen this a few different cams before, i.e. Toda, Skunk and even some stock cams. My Toda B’s have some edges that look a bit rough too and I have had no problems with them. I have had them for well over 60k.

If you want you could touch them up a bit with a file then hit the edges with a buffer wheel. Just hit the edges enough to break the sharp edge and be careful not to hit the smooth part of the cam lobe.

I have seen this with the use of stiffer valvesprings on Toda cams.. My old ones were used in someone elses motor with 90lbs on the seat and this is what they look like now....I recomend a lighter spring and be carefull with you revs(because of the lighter spring..

As previously stated, if the main surface area is smooth and there are no edges sticking up on the top of the lobe then i believe you will be fine.
