Default Itr cam fraud?

I just bought some itr cams from a pretty trusting friend. I got the cams and have not installed them yet. But here is my concern... I thought you could pick out a itr cam by looking at the nipple which connects to the dizzy, and it would have 1 or 2 ribs or rings .. on it. this one is smooth with none at all. did i get ripped or what, I figured you guys would know... thanks a bunch.

u are aware that jdm itr cams dont have the dual rings at all? and usdm 97-98 have only the single ring. only the 00-01 usdm have the dual rings. install it and see how it works first.

i agree w/ b18c1_powered_si

not alot of people no that difference w/ the JDM cams. I have even seen aftermarket CTR and ITR camshafts when i was overseas at the honda dealerships and they too do not have the rings on them except for the 00-01 cams.

Your right about the cams. These do not have the rings, but i measured the lobes and compared them to a b16. The vtec lobes are almost twice as wider and slightly higher lift than the b16 cams. Thanks everyone!!
