i bought the ebay kit to put my swap in. it is item number 7950519251. i have a hf crx that i am putting in and i have no idea where the square bracket goes to and what it hooks to. the motor i am putting in is a b18a. please get back asap. i am trying to do my swap tommorrow. am i supposed to have some bracket on my engine? Please help
Well it appears as if it goes on the rear, mounts on the rear engine cross member. But the mount plate (bottom portion of it) looks weird, too flat.

Yes, you should have a bracket on the rear of your motor, under the intake manifold. If you don't, then youu need to get a 90-93 Teg bracket, also known as the "T" bracket.

It looks a little weird but it works. I use this kit to install a b18a into a 90 hatch. That flat part sit on the rear metal bar to make the part even with the other.
BTW Next time make your title more approperiate. This make it more useful for other honda-tech members.

I highly discourage you from fabricating something that can be easily attain. I think they are like 35 buck. Just slow down with that swap for now...i know you are excited and everything. You don't want to fix it down the road.

No, and if that rear mount doesn't work, you can use a Teg rear mount as well. You could have gotten that bracket at a pick n' pull for about $10-$15.
