I dont know the extent of the damage(if any) on your vehicle, so I cant tell you exactly how to go about use'n the body filler, unless I know the application. In other words, what are you plan'n to use body filler for? Dents?

Bondo is ok for smoothing out imperfections in the body surface but for rust and cracks I would get new panels and have them welded in if you want the car to last. Just bondoing rust will make it go away for awhile but it will eventually come back.

Only way to get rid of rust is to cut it all out and weld in new metal. Bondo will cover it up for a while, but it will eventually look worse than the rust did in the first place.
