Default Engine Stuff- Hmotors

When you buy a motor from them should you just buy the motor or the "complete" change over? it sounds like the motor, has everything you need am i wrong?? -Thanks

what motor are you looking at purchasing and what do you have for a car civic/crx/ dx/si/ hf?

well anyway to answer your question the motor does pretty much come complete, but it really depends on what swap you want to do

B18c5 in a 91' CRX Si My goal is to keep it stock and only add a lighter flywheel and get it BARed

You get the complete swap..

But you need to buy b-series motor mounts
You have to convert to hydro to run that tranny
You have to convert your car's obd to match the motors obd or vice versa..
Some other **** to
b18c5 swap is a very hard swap..Its gonna cost a lot..But if you got the money go for it..

is B18c5 and lot more than a B18c1, i know the motor is cheaper in C1, but is the swap more expensive besides that?

HAS Sport actually makes mounts/mechanisims to run the hydro tranny's

honestly why bother with the R ,why not turbo a gsr or b16?

Then he wouldn't be able to say he has a type-r motor..
I agree b18c is much more cost effective then the b18c5..

How do you get a turbo GSR smogged in CA? if it can be done then tell me how, i was just thinking of keeping everything stock so smogg wont be a huge deal

chip your ecu so when you go to get tested it runnings a little lean.when i go to the testing station i pull in a lot near it switch to a lean chip go in test then go to the lot and switch it back out. i passed my last one with out a cat. on my z6. they didn't even look under my car. but they where slamed that day.

its going to be a lot easier to turbo a swapped gsr and get the turbo setup approved also with a stock gsr motor.
