10 flat? i dont think so.i wouldnt pay more that 2.5 because its clean.was there ever a swap in the car? if the harness is all hacked up then thats the reason i would pay 2.5 if its a complete virgen maybe 3k. even that seems a little high to me because i could have just bought a stock eg wiht less miles for 1.5

You might want to take some pictures of the actual car and not the interior. Just trying to help you out a little. Nobody is aware of what the front end or sides of the car look like.

I'm sorry, but that's a little steep there man. Kelly Bluebook private party value for "Excellent" is only $1835. That's alot of miles to be asking for $2500. Is it me, or everyone and their moms are asking a little too much for their EF's nowadays. Maybe that's why I STILL can't find one decently priced.

It's getting harder & harder to find one in good condition - that's why.

I don't necessarily believe that they're (EF's) harder to find. It's just plain hard to find ANY good Honda platform nowadays because alot of people ask for too much for their cars nowadays (and NO, there is no such thing as profit on used cars, unless you can perform mechanical miracles, got the car for dirt cheap, or find an idiot to pay for more than what it's worth). I remember my first Honda, it was a mint 91 CRX si w/106k mi on the clock. Got the sucker for $2300 back in 2000. I guess it depends on where you are in the US. Us Minnesotans might pay around $2000 or maybe a little higher for that here because of the shitty winter season, but over in the sunny states, I'd say it would'nt be as valueable as over here in the slush.

Its crazy also because when I was senior in high school I was looking around for 89-91 civic si and they were all going for like $2000-3000 with like 150K on them. Now I'm a senior and college and the price still hasn't dropped. I guess it just goes to show honda's don't lose their resale value.

188k eh... you should mention how well you took care of the engine. If you replaced everything during the times you should have, and/or rebuilt some parts of the engine, i dont think its worth that much, but you could definitely try. If the engine doesn't have much left in it, then it takes a ton from the value of the car. Might as well be a Shell if the engine is going to go. There is always someone out there looking for a good SI

I think the best thing about it is that its a WHite Si (hot) not many of them around anymore if you ask me. The seats look great, and the reast of the interior (also becoming harder to find good Si Recaro's ^_-

i say you can get away with $2,000 if the engine has good life left in it.

Its unfortunatele for the people looking for Si's at a good price, but there is always someone out there that will pay more, like your askin price 2,500

Definitely get more pics of the car.. whats the outside look like?

I think that price is a little high. I picked up a 91 white si with rota's and koni yellows with some sort of lowering spring ( haven't looked yet ) and Apexi catback for $450. The body is rough on that one. Also picked up another white 91 white si that is damn near mint, with the exception of the front passenger fender. Bone stock for $1100.

If your exterior is in good shape then I'd say $1800 - $2200. Depends where you are. Here in PA it would go for about $1500.

I agree: 1800-2200 is about right... Thats a bunch of miles, and i wouldnt pay more than 2000, infact if i was to buy it I would would prolly try to get u down to 1700-1800, just b/c of the rust (I didnt see it in any of the pics, but if its just surface rust, id pay 2000. Any deeper than the surface, and I wouldnt want to mess w/ it.) Thats all relative to MD... I got mine for $650, so...

I just picked up a 96 EK with less miles for $2400, and I've gotten all my crx's for under 1k. I could see you getting 2k for it.

2500 might be a bit too high, but then again.. everybody on here knows exactly how much these cars are worth.. which means that u might actually get away with asking for "2500 obo" on a local paper classified ad or something.

I personally think 2000 is good, if the exterior is good looking. I recommend you taking higher res images, those are what catches the buyer's eyes at first glance.
Im a bit weary of the fixed "rust spot".. if there has been rust, that means its rust-prone and thats generally speaking a no-no.

yea.... where i live, completly stock, not even as clean as that^ one, '90 si and 91' si goes for $4995, ridiculous. the dealers have finally caught on that the kids eat up hondas arond here. junkyards same way, teg parts used to not me so cheap. now your lucky to find a rolled GSR for less than 3K.

F&*ke dup

prviate party is a different story though. i got my '90 b16 hatch for $1500, car is a rusty pos, but had full teg swap, stainless lines and cat back.
had to replace complete front brakes and complete suspension due to inconsiderate installation, so add about a grand but i got the good stuff.

get a hacked up si for like $300 too but they are all torn up and gutted.

i've gotten deals like this all my life with car purchases. thats why i couldnt see him getting that much either. i also have the mentality i will never sell my crx unless someone offered to buy it for XXXX amount. which i would still think more than twice about. i know i will never get what i want for my car so it wil be with me til it's totalled and everything will be switched onto next crx.

Car's should usually sell for the market value, not the kbb. Edmunds has the true market value on their site.

But the price of your hatch will depend on the area in which you live. In socal, nice hatches generally run for 2k-3k stock. But, i've seen ads of nice hatches selling for well under 2k in northern/eastern states.
