Can I take this off?
Every time i shift my car, something on my exhaust is rubbing. I checked all the brackets and it seems good. I got under the car and it felt really flimsy. At first I thought it was the clutch that's installed, but its more of a "hollow metal noise. Here is a pic cause I suck at describing things. Thanks for the help!
you can just bend it out alittle, looks like its all disformed......but i took mine out and had no probs and i bet everyone else has taken this off.

I'd leave it on. If you get cold, turn up the heater. Come summer time, you'll be hating life...unless your car has A/C.
