i am a novice welder, i just began tig welding and i am going to be in the process of piecing together my ic piping. now, can different types of aluminum alloys be welded together? i know that aluminzed steel piping is a no go to weld onto existing aluminum piping, but i was just wondering if one type of aluminum can be welded to another type of aluminum...

yes they can use 4043 filler rod.

also when welding aluminum you can not be too clean.
the cleaner the better
