Default ahhh clutch cable snapped!

recently ive been noticing that my clutch pedal has been getting stuck so today I was driving and the cable just completly snapped. Has this ever happened to anyone? I have a 91 crx with a b16a. The cable was the oem cable
(Clutch Cable 22910-SK7-A02 90-91 integra). I assume im just gonna go get another cable, but are there any stonger ones out there?

YES there are stronger ones out there! The one in my civic was made of like a weird nylon type something material for the cable and had plastic threads on the adjustment part.

At autozone for $26 I got one and the cable was all metal and the adjuster threads and nut were metal also. I can drive with confidence now knowing my cable will not snap.

Sounds like the stock cable. They have plastic threads, I've never had a problem with it though. The plastic cable leaves something to be desired however.

Yea, it was stock cable. I tried adjusting mine when I first got the car, and found the threads were in 4 pieces. Sometimes made a cracking noise when I depressed the clutch, and it was broken at the low spot so I had to stand on the clutch to get it to disengage. Best $26 spent on my car so far.

p.s. cable was hacked up too, could have snapped at any moment
