Dont need boost for only 13s..

Get ctr pistons..(Bumps up your compression ratio for more power)
Some itr or ctr cams..(Give you more mid-high power)
upgraded valvetrain(not needed but if you want to rev high its recommended)
P&P the head..
Bigger intake manifold/throttle body..
Nice tires..

In a car that weights only 2000lbs. you should get low 13s if you drive right with that and you wont have to spend your full $2000..

i say slap a T3 on it and boost around 8 psi and you should be well around low 13'2 if not high 12's

**** i ran a 14.8 with shitty tracton and 8 PSi on a ZC in my 4 door

Sounds like a junk yard turbo kit would actually cost less than what you suggest.

A straight through pipe that replaces the catylist converter to get more flow

Well lets figure. A b16 crx typically runs 14.5 with a decent driver. Lets not forget the crx Sir WAS the fastest honda ever made(besides the nsx) till the year 2000 when the S2k came out. If you ask me 12 years of tech to even barley beat the crx, gotta be a good car...anyway i hear about alot of people turboing these B16's over a gsr and its pretty nuts. But reliability, not as great dep[ending on how u run it. I run a 14.5 in my crx B16 with the p185 stock crx si tires and wheels.

Picture that 14.5 now, 205 tires, 10lb fylwheel, exedy stage 1 clutch, I/H/E, CTR intake cam and ITR exhaust cam. Should hit 13's no problem. That flywheel alone is crazy. Think possibly even a crank pulley in there will help alot. id say thats realisticly around $2000 or even less. I say just that flywheel, clutch should get u real close to 14.2 alone.

not trying to change the subject but a s2k is not faster than a b16 swapped hatch or crx.

go buy diamond racing wheels.
buy them with a 5.5" back spacing in a 13x9

make sure you have stock sized brakes (9.5"), and you'll be running 13s.

or to run 13 second 1/4 miles... do a small shot of nitrous...

I know Turbo in the long run will ultimately make more power, but if your talking just an average street car with minimal money to spend, then Nitrous is the cheapest power adder.
