Default Valve cover gasket

I have a 95 Accord LX - 6 cyl automatic transmission. I need to replace the valve cover gasket.

Specifically, what do I need to ask for and purchase from the parts department at Honda?

If you have to ask this question you may not want to try and do the repair your self. Also a hint for you there are 2 valve covers on your car. You may want to find out witch one needs replaced.

Ask for valve covers for your accord v6, they will ask you some questions-"what year"etc. not too compicated

A friend of mine is actually doing most of the work. I'm there to help him. He just asked that I picked up a valve cover gasket kit but I wanted to know if there was anything else I should pick up as well. The front one definitly needs to be replaced. Michael is wanting to replace both.

The prices are Approx. cost each; you might want to replace the side cover gaskets of the head while you have the valve covers off. They usually start leaking before the valve cover gaskets do. Use a little bit of sealer on the valve cover gaskets where the "hump" makes the corner. The 10mm bolts and nuts are low torque about 10ft/lbs.

Best of luck I hope this helps you.
