I have one, I used a B20Z block with a B16 head and a S1(one) tranny. it works really good for me, so far. I have heard alot of bad things about that si tranny, gearing wise.

A stock Gsr motor has a girdle, oil squirters and it can rev high..Its a good all around motor..
A stock block b20vtec(b20block/b18c head in your case)cant rev high, and the block has thin cylinder walls..It has a shitty stroke ratio,etc..
Now if the b20vtec is built right it would walk all over a gsr motor but to build it right would cost lots and lots of money..
