Ok, i want to know some good tires for a honda. They are for street/drag. My WRX, ive always run Azenis Sports, im a falken *****. I know the azenis suck for hondas, well for drag. Does falken make a good drag/stree tire for a honda? If so, which kind. If not, can you reccomend me something? thanks

I dotn want all-seasons. I live in AL, we dont have seasons, just rain weather and dry weather. I want something that can handle both. Are S03s good for traction on the strip? The rims are 16s, i want 225 wide.

So the ziexs are actually pretty good? Ive always heard they are ecsta 712 copies (or vic versa). Umm, how are neogens for drag? How do they handle for autox and the rain? thanks

You know, because those crappy tires don't spin harder than azenis or anything.
Azenis are about the best hooking tire you can get, sans drag radials. I dislike BFG's because you're lucky to get 3000 street miles out of them. FWD is a whole different world from AWD.

yea i know fwd is alot different than aws. Ive heard from alot of people that Azenis Sports suck. ANd i couldnt understand that statement on the neogens. Which BFG are you talking about? G-force KDWs? Because i know Azenis are really bad on tire life. Do you know if the azenis st115s are any good?

Well i want a good street tire. It doesnt need awsome wet perf, just not something that will be my death (like azenis sports). It doesnt need all out drag perf also, (like BFG 555rs). A good street tire. Damn, i havent gotten any good info yet. maybe tires just dont matter as much on a honda, as it did for my subie.
If you want a street tire how about yokohama avs es100's? Not quite as sticky as Azenis but last twice as long, great in the rain, and perfect for some real spirited "street" driving.
kumho MX's are good all around, but if you want something that will perform like slicks and have a shitty tread life but don't care about the price you should go with the following; Nitto NT 555R Extreme, Toyo RA-1, Yokohama AO32R H/S (h&S stand for hard and soft compound). There are plenty more but i figured this would be fine. BTW these last 3 tires are called R-compound tires.

Now this is what i want to hear! Anyone else know of the es100s? I definately dont want R compounds. I want something with good life, great dry traction, and decent to good wet traction. I heard the MXs wear pretty fast.

Mx's have a treadwear of 180
. I had them on my eg for a month or 2 before i lost some traction in rain and hit a divider. They are pretty good tires, I had AVS ES 100 they lasted me about 3 summers of (aggressive driving) I'm looking into some Hankook Ventus K104 supposedly a lil slower than azenis in 1/4 but way better wet traction.
