Default auto manual swap no vtec

yo - i did this auto-to-manual swap, and since then i haven't had vtec kick in. i have good oil pressure, car was warm when i tried (a lot) and it just seems to get slower at high rpms, whereas before it would rod normally (heh, rod) does it have anything to do with the fact that the car thinks its in park? i have no check engine lights.

did you change ecu to a manual??...
if not sounds like timing, if your car feels sluggish

yeah, i changed the ecu to a manual (by taking out 2 resistors and soldering in a jumper) ill check my timing tomorrow morning, and see if that's the problem. would vtec not kick in if its too advanced, or retarded? i guess not, since that's what you're saying. hmm
