What pants and boots should i get???
I have a Joe Rocket Speed master jacket but i ware jeans and DVSs lol. Im looking for something that will give me more protection but i don't really want to ware leather pants. my speed master comes will the extra zipper that i can sew to any pare of pants i want, but what pants do i get? also i would like to ware casual looking boots/shoes and i ware size 13 which some companies don't make. what do you guys think???
Yeah there is a problem with wearing timberland boots. The footpeg will cut through the leather like a hot knife through butter.
I had a pair on when I had an accident. I will see if I can find the pictures of the timberlands. I broke 3 bones between both feet and the footpeg impaled my left inner heel.
I posted pics on here along time ago I think.
Also for pants, look into draggin jeans. They have kevlar inserts in the impact areas where jeans might tear.
I wear a full two piece spidi hook, sidi race boots , alpine star gp gloves and a shoei duhammel replica everytime I ride (here in florida heat) but that's just me. Once you have experienced road rash, or break bones due to less than adequate foot wear you would be willing to go the extra mile too.

those jeans are junk. i quote (newenough); "Nobody could tell you with a straight face that these jeans give anywhere near the crash protection of leather sport pants (or even textiles), but if you are going to wear jeans anyway, and you like the look, you'll find the comfort features to be a real plus."
get leather or textile at least.

I wear Dr. Martens to "everyday" rides. Check out there site... http://www.drmartens.com/ When you're gonna go canyon/track you should get race boots.

I don't understand what you mean by ugly. Do you think I recommended that you tuck your jeans in the boots? WTF?!? Naw man, I wear my jeans over the boots. When I'm standing, they just look like regular boots.
