stock ITR + front lower tie bar = more understeerting?need cusco pic PLZ!
i was after a cusco front lower tie bar pic on an ITR, most of the pics in the searched files are long gone
i was wondering if anyone also knew from experience if a toda header will also fit this bar installed.
i know i may have clearance issues if i lower the car.(im on stock suspension and for daily driving only atm)
one last thing i assume handling would be more responsive, due to the higher rigidity, but would it cause it to understeer more if i don't have a rear strut bar?
should get both at the same time? does anyone have a cusco rear strut pic, installed on an itr? just want to know actually if cutting is required like the mugen piece
im considering that mugen and spoon at the moment (rear strut)
thx again in advance

actually i would advise on getting the spoon ltb because it flex's. cusco ltb makes more understeer because it is a rigid one piece. had one on and didnt like it too much. spoon ltb will show more more reponsive handling imo.
but dont take my word for it, there are some that will disagree with me and bring up some good points

thx for the info, but just curious is it the idea of a tie bar is to make the suspension frame more rigid? so wouldn't the flex contradict the the purpose of the piece?
its a little hard to explain. the spoon ltb will keep the subframe from flexing outward. but will allow some flex also. the cusco does not.
that's just my take on it. most people will say one piece bars are better, and vice versa. imo stiffer isnt always better. better drivers prefer their ride to be stiff as hell because they know how to work with the understeer. there is a lot of information on bars in the road racing forum
*waits for the flames*

Ok I don't want to jump on this because I guess I could be wrong, but I think you guys might be getting sway bars and strut bars confused.
Increased chasis rigidity is ALWAYS a good thing and I really don't see a front tie bar effecting understeer/oversteer characteristics. A thicker front SWAY bar on the other hand....

thx for the input! i not 100% sure myself so i was wondering...
