Default stainless brake hoses

i's installing a 5 lug conversion from a ITR into my EK.

i want to get stainless brake lines for the swap. so do i use integra r lines or civic ones. also are all dc2 integra brake lines the same. i tried searching for type r stainless lines and mostly came up with ls/gs/gsr lines only. i know the itr rear calipers are the same as gsr calipers, but the fronts are different.

theyre the same location as far as I know
why not search for those that have the itr calipers and ask what hoses theyre using - which Im sure will be ex/si lines up front
(so you'll want the em1 lines)

The ss brake lines are the same.92'-95' civic with rear disc and 94'01' integra with rear disc. It's all the same. But not the newer civics.

Integra (any 94-01), or Civic Si (99-00) lines are what you want.

But arent most integra lines longer than civic lines?
Creates uneccesary distance, volume, and could result in damage to them from slack (if not secured away from rotation)

Side note: I recommend TechnaFit lines from KingMotorsports (good price and are caoted w/ an outter plastic shield to protect mesh)

This is an odd question that I am also looking for the answer to. I have a LS 95 dc teg and recently purchased a set of ss lines for it. While waiting for shipping, i did a little research and found out that type r's have different part #'s than any other ls, gs, rs, gsr, etc.

What are the diffierence in type r vs. the other dc tegs?

Will the type r lines work for me? Thanks for the help and sorry if I am jacking your thread, I just seen it while searching and figured it better than creating a new one for a similar answer

Will they work? probly...

will they work any better... nope...

i am not sure what the difference is but if anything it is probably just a little difference in length...

I was not expecting any performance gain from "type r" lines. I got a good deal and purchased them to add to my wilwood brake setup.

I beleive the lines are going to be different in size. The concern i have is, are they going to be too long (I hope) or too short?

Im almost positive that the length of the lines of any integra are the same. The only difference would be the width of the lines. If the width is different, that would promote better brake fluid flow throughout the lines, which would cause better braking. I might have to check on this though.

The size and length of all integra brake lines are the same. The only difference is the brake hose mounting bolts. The brake hose mounting bolts are the same on gsr's and Type r's (98-01), but different on ls's.

So your R lines will work but you might have to zip tie them in place

excellent. I can buy mounting brackets or use brackets similar to the ones that hold the harness for the alternator. The ones that fold around the line then have a hole for a bolt.
Thanks a ton!
