Goodbuy or not is the ???
2001 Red/BLK CBR 600 F4i, 6700 miles, Yoshimura(sp) Carbon slip on, 2 tiny scratches.
Includes $400 Icon jacket, $400 helmet and a nice set of gloves all for $3800. Needs oil change and chain lubed, no biggies. I would plan to ride it and advertise it for sale in early spring/summer and try and sell it to make $$$. I know how dangerous bikes are and just need one for a little while., either way is this a good price. Seller is a good friend of mine. Thanks for any help.

haha... i HIGHLY doubt that you'll only ride it for a little while
but that sounds like an awesome deal. take the gear regardless of if it fits you or not. if it doesn't fit, turn it around and make some money on it, then it'd be like you only paid 3,500 or less for the bike then.

My buddy is exactly my size so it should all fit fine. Reason it's so cheap is everyone who wants to buy it doesn't have the money or needs a loan. He was asking $4500, said 4k from me would take it so I figure $3700-$3800 should seal the deal. I appreciate the info. Any known problems or specifics to look at when buying it????
The CCTs are notorious for failing in Hondas, especially any CBRs and VTRs. You can get a manual CCT, which requires adjustment every year or so, or a Honda CCT, which doesn't require the adjustment, but could fail again in a few years (the MCCT, when installed correctly, won't fail).
