Well im back in the Civic world, i was kinda out of it for a little
had a 2001 civic lx but that got a little beat up so recently i went out and got myself a 93 civic SI hatch.

Looking to do a B20 Swap with a b18c1 or c5 head not quite sure what the best route to go is. if anyone has any good ideas that would be cool

hmm. . . thx i guess? sorry that im not quite up to par in the game just been talking to a few friends that have been playing with hondas for a while.

room mate drives a 1992 hatchback CX with a b18c1 and a garrett turbo, some internal work done on his motor. hes only running 10 pounds of boost right now untill he can get a new clutch that will handle the power.

 

well, welcome to "the game" but you need to familiarize yourself with the rules of the forum. and then there's a search function. most of the topics have been created already, so thats why its there. there's a massive archive full of very useful information especially on the setup you're planning on going which is "b20vtec" so type that in the search engine in the upper right hand corner. there were 47 results for recent topics and im sure there are tons more in the archive

 

A lot of people go with the b16a head over the c1, it is suppose to flow better. I dont know becuase i have never have had a c1 head.

For parts try a local place first, becuase you wont get rape by the S/H. If that fails try junk bay, or the classifieds here. Also if you want to pass inspection, make should that the engine you buy isnt stolen.
