Default Type R Throttle Body Installation Problem on my D-series motor

Alright heres the deal, I have the skunk2 intake manifold for my d16y7. Will I have to port match the Integra type R throttle body to it because I think the skunk2 intake manifold already has a bigger openning. Plus I currently have a civic throttle body spacer and was wondering if this would fit. OR do I have to get the integra spcacer instead of the civic one. If someone could please help me with this. Thank You.

im not sure if the skunk2 D manifold's plenum matches the diameter of the ITR TB's, but if it doesn't, yes its a good idea to match port it. You can reuse your D-series TB gasket, but you'll have to widen the diameter size of it with some scissors, or just buy an ITR TB gasket...

Depending on how much you have to bore over the manifold's inlet, you can use a cylinder honing tool/stones on a drill. Anything more than a millimeter will probably need carbides, stones, or a lot of cartridge rolls.

I would get the ITR TB gasket. They're cheap.

I have a Skunk2 D16 I/M, and the opening is about 61-62mm. So your type-r throttle body should bolt on and match very well since the TB is 62mm.

Alright. Thx. I appreciate the info. Any idea if my spacer will fit?
