Type R Throttle Body On My D Series installation problem.
I have the skunk2 intake manifold for my d16y7. Will I have to port match the Integra type R throttle body to it because I think the skunk2 intake manifold already has a bigger openning. Plus I currently have a civic throttle body spacer and was wondering if this would fit. OR do I have to get the integra spcacer instead of the civic one. If someone could please help me with this. Thank You.

I don't remember the size of the skunk2 manifold inlet, but the ITR TB is 62mm. a civic TB is 52-56 mm. so if you have the spacer for a civic it would be at most 56mm. so it would be smaller than the hole in your TB and IM. so you could either bore out the spacer or get a spacer for an ITR to match your TB.
if you port match the TB to the IM, then you will be helping the air keep its velocity going into the IM. so it is a good idea to port match the two. I've heard that spacers don't work very well on civics. I would just dump it personally.
hope this helps.

Just port the intake manifold and dont bother with a useless piece of metal (throttle body spacer).
