Is this a good idea?

My friend recently got himself a nice little b16a, and im thinking about getting a new project car. like an 87 HF and putting in the d16 and adding the z6 head and possibly turbo it? Does this sound like a good route to yall? The engine has like 110k miles on it

honestly, no. go with a 88 or newer

I just see the pre-88's as a lot of work. BUT the mini-me is a good idea.

yeah def. 88 or newer but i hope you wanna rebuild that motor before you think of turbo on it.

If you have a lot of time on the side and can fabricate and stuff, I say why not? It would be a fun little project, and not too many people do this. I know that I have seen some B16's in 1st gen CRX's, which makes a badass little car. I believe that there are actually companies that do the mounts for this too.
