Yea its an automatic... but with the programming it has it PROBABLY shifts almost as fast as an automatic. I have driven several of the newer amgs..04 and up with the amg touch shift program and it shifts very similar to a stick(as far as action and all except you bump it left or right) SLR is made almost completely out of carbon fiber. $450G's sticker...good luck trying to buy one for that price. And yes... training for Mercedes-Benz. I went up several months ago for the 2004/2005 update training for technicians. Its always a blast... instructors up there kick *** and everything.

thats a FACT, but if i was paying the 500k or whatever it is for one of those, id want a clutch pedal included.

make it a gold plated clutch pedal.

All have clutch pedals. Automatic or not it's still fast, like Jeremy Clarkson said "Welcome to the fastest automatic in the World!"

I just have a couple of gripes with the car. I think that Mercedes should've used their own AMG 7.3L V12 that was supplied to Pagani on the SLR instead of using the 5.5 SC V8. They should've completley redesigned the interior instead of lifting it from the SL 55.

thats pimp! I work at mercedes-benz of Naperville and those SLRs have been out for a couple of months now yet we STILL havent gotten one in yet It sucks..we've had 6 maybachs come thru yet no SLR I bet its even sicker in person. Nice pics man
