NEED HELP! Wiring Fog Lights
Some one that has installed fog lights before or knows how to do it I need your help!
I am reading the instructions that I have for installing fog lights into my 93 si Hatch. The part that I am hung up on is on Page 4 and it is step 14 ( http://www.hondaautomotivepart....html ). You are supposed to locate a 1 pin connector blue tapped to the car's wire harness behind the fuse box the only problem is is that I can't find the damn thing. Can someone please shead some light on this for me by taking a pic of where the heck it is supposed to be so that I can have a better chance of finding it. You help and time will be greatly appreciated.

i don't know if it's the same for your car, but on my 99-00 civic....the blue tapped connector is all the way in the back near the fuse box. you have you look VERY CLOSELY for it and make sure you have enough light because it's hidden. good luck.

Is there any way that you can take a pic for me? I have even gone as far as to unbolt the fuse box and have looked all over but I can't find the connector I assume that it is about the same since it mentions the same plug in both the EK and EG instructions.

look for blue tape....the connector should be attach to another harness if i remember correctly. the 1 pin connector is very short that is why it makes it so hard to locate. i'll try to get some picture up later.
ok....here's the picture i manage to take in the dark....
the 1-pin connector is so short that you can't see it. see the broken blue tape? that was where it was. anyone know what the other connector is for???

I know these pics are huge but i left them big to get you views. this is an unmolested DX chasis harness that we have lying around. I can't find any blue tape or any 1 pin connector.
here is a close op of the fuse box area

here is a shot of the harness from the large plastic part over.

Ok dude,
don't know if this'll help you but in my car (94 EX) the connector you're looking for is a brown ! pin plug that was right by the grommet in the firewall. if you were looking at it from the driver's seat it would be down and to the left, all the way to the firewall. It was right by a junction connector.
Its not going to be on the steering column wire harness because all it does is bring the fog light harness to the interior. Crap let me try to be a little more clear. This plug is part of a harness that goes from the 1 pin plug by the windshield washer bottle, follows the left side of the engine compartment and comes into the driver's footwell. Its taped in that little corner right by the firewall.

So what you are saying is that is it attached to the engine harness when it comes through the fire wall? like before the large brown and clearish connector?
I have found the one in the engine bay that one was easy but this damn this is still giving me trouble in the cabin of the car.

I don't have pics because mine are hooked up right now. What I had to do was sit upside down in the driver's seat, shoulders on the floor, legs over the seatback, and head under the dash with a flashlight. It's way up and under the dash, back towards the firewall. You really have to get up onder there; even though I know where it is now, I still think I'd have to do this to be able to get to it.

Not sure if this will help, But I just did a Fog light install tonight on my '00 Si.
The 1 pin brown connector was on the back of the fuse box towards the top and to the left.
It took me and a buddy 30 minutes to find it.
Let us know what happens
