So the wife tells me to pick out my favorite picture of my car because she has an idea for a birthday gift (she won't tell me what she's doing). I have this pic that I really like but unfortunately my photo skills are not that great admittedly. I know that there are alot of people on here really good w/ photoshop. I'm not too sure on what "exactly" needs to be done but the picture does look a little dark and unsharp (if that makes sense). Thank You for taking the time to look and for any help.



P.S. This is not a "tell me what you think of my car" thread. I know alot of people hate my wheels and that's cool. Thanks again.

eh. i took some of the redness out and adjusted a few things... i think it looks better; but when editing in photoshop it's really all about personal tastes and what you want the picture to look like, there are so many directions you can go with color balance and such.

it looks like he just brightened it up... which takes away a lot of the color

friendly tip; all i did was
1 filter&gt;sharpen
2 image&gt;adjustments&gt;brightness/contrast (adjust as you like)
3 inage&gt;adjustments&gt;color balance (adjust as you like)

with steps 2 and 3 you just have to try different things with them and see what you like.

i dont think he wants the pic "photoshopped" i think he just wants it cleaned up and sharpened just so it looks like a better quality picture.

WOW I'd like to thank each one of you personally. I'm going to have a hard time picking which one I like best. Honestly thank you very much. As far as it being a cake that's the first thing I guessed and she swears that is not what she's doing.

 

Not to be an *** or anything... just trying to give some input... the levels/bright/cont/color is all pretty fine.... I think the problem lays within the background....it just feels too busy...
