Default Engine Oil Pressure Switch

I need to remove and inspect the engine oil pressure switch on a 93 honda accord. It looks like it's leaking oil, but not sure how to take it off (without breaking it). First, it's difficult, but not impossible to reach. Second, it has a boot or cover around it that hides how it's attached to the engine block, and it doesn't seem to want to come off. What's the trick to removing the engine oil pressure switch?

Hope I'm not being overly stupid about it.

Thanks, Tony

The rubber boot around the electrical connector is probably rock hard, you can crack it on one side and get it to slide up the wire. The way I change these is to remove the oil filter, use a stubby wrench 24mm/7/8. DON'T over tighten the new unit, tighten till you feel a sharp rise in torque then about 1/3 more turn.
If you think it looks like it's leaking it probably is, it's pretty common beyond 90k miles.

^he's right, size 24 but get the deep socket one, since the regular size would clear the top.
