Will a roll bar for a 3 door hatch fit a coupe or sedan?
Rick at Autopower seems to think it will since they are all based on the same platform but I'mm thinking no.
You guys are the experts though so whadduya know?

Depends on where the rear braces for the bar mount. If it's to the struts, I highly doubt that you could put the hatchback bar in any of the other cars, unless there's a severe bend in the bar that goes from the main hoop to the strut.

The AP bar should go to the fronts of the rear wheel well, below and in front of where the shock mounts. It should fit, as that should be the same for any of the cars, unless they're different wheelbase lengths or something.

For '92-95 Civics, the hatch has a shorter wheelbase than the coupe and sedan, so the rear hoop for a hatch bar would end up further back when installed in a coupe/sedan (if it is possible). Whether that would cause any problems or not is a different argument . . .
As Archidictus mentioned, the hatch also doesn't have a partial rear bulkhead and a rear deck to work around like the coupe and sedan do. Again, whether this causes problems or not, who knows . . . depends on how the bar is designed.
Why not just go have a custom roll bar welded in?

See, that wheelbase thing would've been the kicker. I wasn't aware they were different, but if that's the case, I don't see how the hatch bar would fit in the others. Isn't the only obstruction the top bulkhead area, like immediately beneath the rear window? Or are there side pieces as well? I'm not familiar with the coupes/4-doors.
I was thinking the wheel bases were model specific but you never know. It was a short lived but good discusion. Thanks to every one that posted.
