blox im for gsr getting code 13 and 14
i have a 94 jdm gsr in a 94 civic coupe with intake/header/exhaust/msd external coil/p 72 ecu untuned. i installed a blox im 2 months ago and now every now and then my mil would register and get code 13 map sensor and code 14
. here is the problem, my idle is fine it does not act up jumpy but when normal driving i get both of these code but after i shut the engine off and restart it, the code goes away and comes back again after a few city blocks of driving. i have searched in the archives for days hoping someone had this type of problem but did not find any answer? all connection are plug correctly the way they are suppose to be and i even double check it with my haynes manual book.has anyone had similar problem like mine. pls share what you did to fix your problem.any feedback will be appreciated. thx to all that respond to this post.

ok first off, MAP sensor code is NOT code 13, its code 3
code 13 = Baro Sensor
code 14 = IACV
perhaps you're reading code 13 wrong, and you're getting code 10 & 3.
10 =IAT sensor (sensor on intake runner)
3 = MAP
here's a list of ecu codes for 88+ honda/acuras:

You might've mixed plugs up, such as plugging the IACV into the IAT sensor and IAT into the IACV sensor. This does happen since the plugs look exactly the same.
TPS & MAP sensor plugs can get mixed up too but you'd know if those got mixed cuz your car would run like crap and idle weird along with shitty gas mileage.
How are you reading your codes exactly?

i apologize and you are right its baro sensor and i read the code according to # of times flashing. my iat is hook up directly to the ecu. i did try at first to switch the plug on iab vacuum storage ( black cannister under the im) with the iacv to see if i hook up the wrong plug and it ran like crap so i switch back the way it was before and it idles fines. pls help. any other info from other member will be appreciated.
What engine wire harness are you using on your GSR engine? are you reusing your existing civic engine harness on it ? if so, perhaps you have the EGR plugged into something on the GSR engine you're not suppose to. You're suppose to leave the EGR unplugged or plugged into the EGR but leave the EGR dangling..
here's a pic of the SOHC EGR sensor (black sensor):

i dont recall having that part in my motor. im using the civic harness btw. i did not do the swap. i had a shop done it in called access motors in signal hill last year. pls clarify what i need to do.im frustrated at this point cuz changing im is suppose to be easy but now it gives me problem everytime i drive a few blocks.thx for your respond.
ok..
Well, you'll need to inspect your wire harness behind the intake manifold, see if you can see a round plug (like your IAT plug), dangling off the harness at all (not being used), or if its plugged into what looks like that black EGR sensor.
Something you can do for me...
Check + see what wire colors are leading to each sensor plug for these sensors:
- IAT
- IACV
I have a stock 94 EX coupe myself, and I'll cross-reference what my wire colors are for those sensors. This will help pin point if you have the right plugs plugged into their respective sensor...

i finally had the chance to look up what you ask for.
iacv- yellow/black wire
blue/yellow
iat- red/yellow - hook straight to the ecu
black-ground
the engine was running fine(no cel) before i installed the blox im. and now am getting a baro and iacv code. all the connector and plugs are inspected a few times and seems to be in the right place. can anyone help me pls those who encounter a similar problem after im installment
