I thought the Type R one would just hang a little lower ? But it should still fit.

You said you have a b16 in the car now, if so what kind of header do you have, does that fit to your cat correctlly, if so as long as there are no mods done to the header on the car currentlly you will not have any problem with either one, there both the same size, so you need to find out if the header that is on the car is modified or if the cat is modified. Meaning if the header was not touched in any way you will not have any issues.

its not in the car yet.
its a stock b16.
its a stock s model cat mated up to a rs*r catback exhaust.

in that case the only problem you will have is with the header flange lining up with the cat flange just take to a mufflur shop and they should be able to cut the cat flange and reweld it to line up with the new header.

the teg header will not be long enough to connect to the sol cat.

for example when putting a GSR motor into a civic you need to use a b16 header, not the gsr, bc it will not bolt up

but why do that when you could just buy the right one.

yes - the EF one will fit. When doing a b16 swap into an EF u can use the stock header, and when doing a b16 swap into an EG you can use the stock header... therefore the answer is yes.

no, u would just have to extend the wire... but since u are buying a new one might as well buy the perfect one.

either one will fit, I have a JDM ITR 4-2-1 header on my sol with a b16a swap and it fits like the stock manifold.

so what would you guys do:

this "jasma" header...
a jdm itr 4-1 painted black...
or a megan racing...

im afraid these will look nasty in a matter of a few days after they get hot.
