Any junkyards near Nagoya? lol.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Not sure, but there are a couple of Up Garages if I remember. Also Nagoya about 1hr. away by train from Suzuka; when I went to the Japanese GP, I stayed in a hotel no more than 3 mins from the main JR train station in Nagoya for less than 75 bux a night.

I wouldnt go right now. Or anytime soon for that matter. If you are thinking about saving money on parts. Our money ain't worth **** right now. You'd save more money by waiting for the dollar to come out of the toilet first.
Japan Airlines has some specials going to Tokyo (Narita Airport) or Osaka (Kansai Airport) too:

$490 LAX-Tokyo (+tax, not included on the AA offers either)

excellent point.
Also, dont go there expecting to find "junkyard heaven" also, cause usually all the good stuff is gone first thing. In my experience anyways, and ive been to many junkyards during my stay.

Gawwwleee! Man, I went to Japan last August and tickets were 1100 bucks. Of course it was peak vacation season so the prices were jacked up then. Maybe I will have to plan another trip back next winter.
