New Valve Keepers?

Is it standard to replace the keepers with new stock pieces when changing the valves in a head?

I would appreciate some thoughts on this....

Show me what a worn one looks like.

The only time I've replaced keepers is when it's a B16 head w/ aluminum retainers.

I don't see how keepers would get worn...? If they do..how? and what on them wears?

the aluminum retainer b16 ones are different. this is why u replace them.

but as far as regular ones go.. i've never known keepers to get worn.
