Hey guys. Is the stock oem intake/airbox the same on a 95 dx 4dr and a 96 ex wagon. I'm taking my car all back to stock, and selling it soon. I'm gonna put my aem intake on my moms wagon and use her oem one since I lost mine. For some reason i see some extra stuff on the bottom of the ex air tube that i don't rember removing from my dx, or am i just smok'n?

 

yes, all the intake systems are the same for the 5th gen accords, your moms airbox/pipe will work on yours and viceversa, and yes there is an extra sensor that is plumbed into some vaccum lines on ex models, im not sure what it really does though, my best guess would be to just bypass it...

 

what are the specs on your accord? I am looking to buy one?
