Default Bridge Stone RE 730's $354 Installed..Looks like a good deal

Whole sale store Costco ( Like Sams Club, BJ's ware house etc) has Bridgestone RE730's in 205 50 15 for $101 a piece that is $404 installed ( plus tax). From next week there is $50 off for a set of four tires so it is $354 installed.

I was thinking about putting kumho's ( because of price advantage but with $70 a piece it is going to cost almost the same as RE730's with installation charges outside..Costco doesn't carry Kumho's)

Kuhmos are crap. Ive had them, and know others who had them, I think they grip really bad, they are good in the rain, thats about it. I would get the Bridgestones.

I really like my RE730s. They are on the Cobra but they have great traction, especially in the rain. I'd put them on the Integra (when the tires that are on it wear out) too, and that sounds like a good price.

the 730's are a lot quieter in my experience, and stickier...

i went from the kumhos in 205/50 to the 730's in 195/55...

i think that the 730's in 205/50 would be good

I second that opinion.

CumHoles (Kumhos) suck! Right now I have Michelin Pilot Sports, but I'm getting Bridgestones next time around.

My RE730s are sticky... so very sticky... Don't let that 300 treadwear trick ya--it's sticky!

I've been hella hard on the tires though--I'm only gonna get about 16,000mi outta them... canyon carving is part of my daily commute... I gotta start driving at like 5/10ths or something... heheh...

Damn! I just got my 730's last week! NTB matched the TireRack price (+$20 each for shipping, etc), so I thought ~$450 was pretty good. Damn!

I got the RE 730's 205/50/R15s - they are VERY impressive - on the dry and nice in the rain - and feel free to me for this one - the are very bad in the snow, especially when down to the tread wear markings on the front wheels

is this an offer throught the manufacturer (bridgestone/firestone)? or is it through costco? because im a costco member and i got that passport savings thing that they send me.. and there is also a $50 off a set of 4 bridgestone or michelin tires...(jan 21-feb3rd)

if its a manufacturer discount that would be cool if i could get a set of 4 for $100 off using the manufacturer discount AND the costco coupon thing.. or was this what u were talking about in the first place? anyway $50 off isnt bad either.. i wanna get these but...

OK before i buy.. help me out.. i have 16" wheels (i think its 40mm offset) and my car is lowered w/ Eibach sportlines.. i have koni shocks on the stock perch setting so that shouldnt matter..

im currently running 205/45/16's and dont have any rubbing issues.. I looked on bridgestones website (www.bridgestone.com) and for the RE730 in 16" the closest size appears to be 205/50/16.. can i get this size with my setup w/o rubbing or throwing off the speedo and odometer too much?

their other 16" sizes for the RE730 are 225/50/16 which i'd imagine would be too wide and too tall.. 245/50/16 and 245/45/16 too wide... so the closest i could get to my current size would be 205/50/16's.. any1 kno if this will fit? thanks in advance for your replies..

Where are you guy's getting the $50 off? Is it a coupon that Costco sent to you or is the $50 automatically taken off when you purchase them?

Also, is the mounting and balancing free if I buy my tires from them?

99ls: mounting and balancing is $7 i think.. unless they raised the price thats how much it was per tire the last time i went there.. as for the $50 off.. im not sure if its an automatic discount.. but Costco sends me sum coupon things in the mail and from Jan 21-Feb3rd i think.. there is a coupon for $50 off a set fo 4 tires..

$101 for a tire is including installation so the total is $404. On this you get a discount fof $50 with the coupons Costco had sent. So $354 installed +plus tax
