FS or FT : 1995 Honda Prelude H22a VTEC - Louisiana
Hey guys I am selling my 1995 Honda prelude SI with a fresh JDM H22A Vtec Swap.
The car is like I said before an Si model with a JDm swap, complete from hmototorsonline.com. The car is Midnight Blue With the black and grey striped interior. The chassis has 110,000 miles, and drives nicely. The car is absolutely bone stock, and it has never been modded, dogged, raced, wrecked, or abused in any way.
The interior is in excellent shape, there are no rips or tears in any of the seats. All the electronics work fin including the power windows, locks, mirrors, and all lights. The Air conditioner blows freezing cold, and the heater works like a charm. The car will be sold with the following
Eclipse flip face Cd player, 2004 model ($400.00 )
Alpine 6-1/2" DDD drive Seperates up front 2002 model ($300.00 new)
Boston Acoustics 6-1/2" two way coaxial speakers in the rear ($200.00 new)
The system sounds great for having no amplifiers, and the cd player blue LED lights match the Preludes dash lights.
The Exterior of the car is in good shape, the paint and clear are quite thick, and very reflective as you will see in the pictures. The clear is wearing off on a little spot on the drivers door handle, where my hand makes contact. (abot the size of a quarter-very common) The car has a few door dings and a few scratches on each side, but not that unusual for a car of this year. The rear bumper has a few spots that have been scuffed due to an accident in the parking lot of my work.
The car has never been in a major accident, and all the paint is original, except for the driver side quarter panel, where my boss tapped it with this pathfinder. The original dent was about 6" X3" This was fixed by professional shop, and looks great. The tip of the hood has a dent, but it can be beat out. The Power moon roof works good, but has a few runst spots, yet another common 4th generation prelude common problem. And also there is a small spot of rust on the lower passenger side quarter panel that the previous owner has stopped and fixed.
I will have pictures up soon of every defect that the car has so that there are no surprises.
On to the engine. Like the mentioned post above, the engine is a h22a DOHC VTEC engine from a JDM prelude. I ordered the swap from hmotorsonline.com. The following things were replaced with all honda OEM parts
-Timing belt
-Balance Shaft belt
-Water Pump
-All front engine seals
-Belt tensioner
-valve cover gasket
-oil pan gasket
-thermostat
-spark plugs
-cap and rotor
-spark plug wires
- The flywheel was turned by a professional shop
-The clutch/pressureplate/t-bearing were replaced with an excedy setup
-The clutch slave cylinder was replaced as well
-The front motor mount was replaced with a new mount.
The engine runs like the day it was new, the transmission shifts like butter, and the overall performance of this setup is very smooth.
The car had a brake job in 6/2004.

well, I have been offered 4k a few times, but with what I just dropped on the swap and parts......its just not worth it. I would go for a little more than that.
