To those of you with slammed CRX's
I have the neuspeed race springs 2.0" front/2.25" rear and of course now I have camber problems... I have the ingalls kit on the car but in order to fully adjust it I need to cut some of the subframe out. I have a heavy duty sawzall(solvesall)
My question, to those of you with slammed rex's
How did you go about doing this? Ive tried with a sawzall ones and everytime I hit the subframe the sawzall shot out of my hands. I've read that a torch is the best way to go.
Any opinions?

hey not sure how to solve your problem but check this out: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1127451
well I used a dremil and just cut through it... or you can use the oversized dremil ... i forgot what it was called but thats a bit harder considering the size...
I love the dremmil... quick fix in the tightest places... specially the pen tool... yea...
you might have to replace the cutter a couple times... but its the best way... just cut out about an inch and a half about ... 1/2 - 3/4 inch deep... thats a guesstimation but it should be right ... it just needs to clear that part and it will swing passed...
fair warning tho... i have my car slammed that low... (not by choice, spindle is stuck/ frozen/seized together and now my tranny was chipped and grinded down because of railroad tracks/ UNEVEN / REPAVING ROADS. and im leaking real bad because I can see the bolt that holds the gear casing to the bearing casing. slammed looks nice but can be too much hastle w/ cops and f'd up roads. oh and im on my third f'd up oil pan. which is very difficult to find.

First make sure you have a metal cutting blade on the saw. Next get yourself a can of WD-40. What you do is spray the area your cutting with the WD, then begin cutting. Also keep spraying the area with the WD from time to time when you are cutting to keep the blade cool
I used a Makita grinder with a 4" metal cutting disc. I made about 5-6 vertical cuts and then used a hammer/pliers to bent the sections back and forth until they broke off.
Me and Mr_CRX think much the same way!
I use my Mikita with 4" cut-off wheel ALL the time. I have two of the Mikita's and a 5" Black&Decker.
Don't use a cutting torch! You will get too much distortion and that will lead to more working getting it correct.
Mr_CRX; send me a photo please! ( think you already have my e-mail address)

i installed an ingalls kit on my friends rex with nuespeed springs and konis. push the upper a arm asd far outward as possible, and tighten it down good. put everything back together... let the a arms do the work aka the bending of that lip under there.
when i dropped my crx i also had camber problems but i went to a little hole in the wall place and they used a camber plate and bent the lower arm which solved that camber problem. no kits needed.
Cool.. Im gonna try the WD-40 thing.. As it stands im riding on 195/60/15.. SOmetimes I have rubbing problems.. Sharp turns. Im switching to 195/50/15 Azenis when I get this stupid camber problem fixed.
