it runs like a scaulded dog but this gas milage sucks, it sounds like a v-8 supercharged with the lope and the whine, I just put it all together yesterday, so I havent had time to go to the dyno yet, but I have allready filled the tank up 3 times in the past 24 hrs.

ok, but you said you have stage 3 cams for all motor that is most likely whats eating all the gas... untuned would not use that much gas...

most people tune only for full throttle....you need to get some one to do some street tuning for partial throttle....this might solve some of your gas mileage problem....

I would get the code fixed before I started making an switches. Then, I would have the car tuned well at partial throttle conditions...and see where the mpg's are at. You need to realize you're definitely not running anywhere near stock, so don't expect to see stock numbers.

Buy a beater and keep your rocket @ the track. Thats about the same gas mileage as the track EK that had a supercharged k20 that was in Honda Tuning I think, it was yellow had a homemade wing. - Darrell

your beater has a swap and blower

get a stock dx as a beater
your own fault *not to insult a motor build up* that it gets that kinda milage.

can't make a race car get milage like a stock car

lol.

Ok, fix the code and tune it. Your not gonna be getting 30mpg if you don't tune the car and even with it tuned your not gonna get 30mpg but your gonna get more then 7mpg.

Don't take of anything until you get it tuned. Taking the cams out will not instantly boost your gas mileage.

Tune the thing.

all motor cams not good for boost, get cel fixed, tune it for drivability and mileage at partial throttle and tune for race at full throttle.....gonna get better gas mileage if you do these things, maybe 20 at the most??
