i would like to know because i want to get a jdm front

 

I been trying to sell my black ITR front end but nobody doing anything but flaking.

 

well if you do go jdm, i might be really interseted in ur usdm front end.

well location does have alot to do with it. i would buy yours but ... you are in cali. and i would rather not deal with shipping all those parts.

 

if the price is right someone would take it right away. i usually see them go anywhere from 400-600.

Thats the hardest thing....you have to get lucky to get someone that wants EVERYTHING.
Partig it out can work but you have to keep your eyes peeled in the Classifieds to see who needs what.

I lucked out and the guy even drove a truck from Virgina Beach to get all my stuff!

Well, that's just your price for everything. I'm just saying that that's how much I usually see them go for here on HT and a good deal is usually in between 400-600.

 

I've partede and sold one front end before. Trust me it can be done. And this was back in 2001 when the lips were still available cheap from the dealer. Trust me if you wait they will come. Don't screw yourself out.

 

I got between 3 and 4 hundred bucks when I parted mine out. If you think you can get 250 for the headlights, and bumper you'll be waiting a realllllllllllllllly long time for a buyer.

 

You should be able to get at LEAST $600-700 out of everything if you part it out seperately.

Or lots more than that, assuming you're willing to ship to Japan. USDM ITR front-end conversion anyone?

 

You should keep that front, your caR is real f'in clean.

 

Ive seen OEM 98+ headlights go for like 400/pair on ebay. i sold my 94-97 oem headlights for 250. from the dealer they are 450 a piece.

damn, lol $400/pair for used headlights, thats just crazy... its better to part everything... you'll make more money rather than selling it as a whole

thanks opie its a really tough decision if i dont get at least 1000 for everything then im not doing it. im still debating who here prefers the usdm over the jdm?

 

If it's not the HID front end I don't think it's worth it.

 

just some food for thought:

doing a JDM front conversion along with already having all the sought-after goodies that Type-R's come with (engine, tranny, 5 lug, interior, etc) is just BEGGING thieves to take your car.

jdm front or no jdm front, doesnt make your type r anymore wanted than it already is......

might as well live like its yours and not theres.. do wtf you want with it... if they want it theyll get it...

just a thought, but IF brightness of the lights is your only concern why not save yourself money and just get the HID bulbs?
