Default power steering removal question

first, i did a search and nothing really answered my specific question.

Is it ok for me to run my car without the power steering belt and with the fluid in? Only thing i did was remove my power steering. I read some things in the search that its bad for the rack? I wasn't sure if that was for the set up i'm doing.

Default Re: power steering removal question (B-18C1)

just pull off the belt (you'll be able to find instructions in a search). the ps belt is the furthest belt towards the front.

dyno proven 3hp all across the power band. lots of people have gone without the ps belt for a long time with no problems at all, so don't worry about it.
