Whats goin on everyone on Honda-Tech, Im trying to get some feedback on my seat swap that i just finished. I found front and back seats from a 91 si, theyre pretty mint for fourteen years old. I paid $250 for them, and drove a round trip of about 400 Miles to get them. Let me know what you all think.

definitly worth it....

 

The foam is great, there is a really really small spot of wear on the drivers seat, left side, i can barely see it unless you look close. as for the foam they feel damn new!

yeah i have a set of almost mint si seats in the front of my hatch and i always get compliments on them so yeah you did good...

 

Yeah im happy that i found both front and rear seats. the rears are clean as hell. now i have to stop smoking sigs in the car, i should quit anyway.

Lol, my family doesn't understand why I put a penny into my crx. I love the damn thing, it's the best car I've ever owned.

Same here. By the way, nice Si seats. Long trip but it was worth it.

cool, I have been looking for some good Si seats for the last two years, all I can find around here is crap. lucky you

 

IMO 88-91 CRX/Civic Si seats are the best OEM seat offer in our USDM Hondas.
My brother has ITR seats in his EK but I still like my Si seats better... I don't know what it is... I think it's the huge bolsters and "shoulder padding"

Great pick-up. I actually got my front and rear set for $80 cdn... but there is a little burn mark on the passenger seat

 

What did you have to do to make these work? Everyone tells me that these seats just wont go into a 91 Hatch, but I have a mint set from my 88 Si and wanna put em in

 

88-89 seats fit 88-89 civics

90-91 seats fit 90-91 civics

Of course you can make custom brackets but why go through the trouble? Just get the year of seats that match your car.

 

I have Crx SI seats out of a 91 crx in my 90 hatch...Had to make a few brackets but they sit like 4-5 inches lower then the hatch seats...feels nice since im tall...

 

Because I have 88 seats and a 91 hatch, the seats are mint, just got them reupholstered with the stock fabric 6 months before I totalled my crx...

 

I'd have to say by far the most comfortable seats honda has come out with. with the exception of the '02+ SiR.

i can't bear to get rid of them.
