ball joint seperator.. you can rent one from autozone.. or you can use the fork style joint seperator if you don't plan on reusing the upper arm.
i didn't re-use mine, so i used the fork style one..

yea, but he is asking how to separate the ball joint from the upper control arm once it is separated from the steering knuckle

a press is a press, it's a machine that press out/press in part(joints, rotor, seized part, suspenion bushing, etc.
honda only sells them on piece(with the uca), when my ball joint went bad, i had them replaced by the pair.
