do all 96-98 honda civic LXs come 4door?
i was gonna buy a really cheap car and swap motors to save money but when i search all the lx's i see are 4 door and the only kind of coupe is the dx and ex

LX= all power no moonroof, only a 4 door option
HX= base model, no options, VTEC-E Coupe only
CX= base model, no options, hatch only
DX= no power windows, no moonroof, all models coupe, hatch, and 4door
Si= all power and moonroof, 99-00 coupe only for this generation.
don't think they made Ek VX's
may have missed a few things but you get the point of the differences in models.

What he left out.
Civic 96-00 stock motors. (not in any order)
D16Y5-1.6L SOHC 16valve VTEC-E
D16y7-1.6L SOHC 16valve
D16y8-1.6l SOHC 16valve VTEC
B16A2-1.6L DOHC 16valve VTEC
I believe the LX and DX had the D16y7. I know the EX has the D16y8 (VTEC)
I'm not sure what motor the cx has...someone help?

And of course the SI has the B16a2 DOHC VTEC
