Default hood pins

who makes stainless steel hood pins like these ones?




i bought a set that look like those from pepboys except they are just chrome plated or whatever..they been on my car for almost 2 months and they are all rusted and look like hell already. anyone know where i can get pins that look like these BUT in stainless steel?

yeah i talked to someone at advanced that sells the mr. gasket ones. he said that they are chrome plated so they would probably end up just like the ones i have now.

LOL, those are stick on pins, they're just for the "race look."

dude get REAL og hoodpins. not those ugly sparco ones. get the imca nascar **** that has the wire coming off the pins
these are cool cause the scuff plate is anodized.. im gonna see if this guy has black

yea i just dont like the new style hood pins, i like the old style that you have a wire connected to the loop of the pin and then to the firewall so the pin doesnt get lost when you take it out.. it just looks more race-ish. i think they look better, but maybe you have to actually have them on your car to understand

The pins stay in on these, no need for a wire. Also, looking "race-ish" isn't really a concern for me, its more a matter of function.

yeah i would get sparco or ones that look like them now BUT my hood is already drilled for the other style, i would have extra holes laying around = rice.

find the ones that are almost flush with a key .. i dont like hood pins, but if i had to, i would rock those .. i dont know they name ive just seen them on here a couple of times !!

oh ok.. just so you know the ones i posted are 6$ on ebay. the guy has red, blue, black, red, purple
ive never seen any with anodized scuff plates so i think these are cool cause black wouldnt even be noticable on a cf hood

you talking about dzus fasteners? those are good but more work to install

that's true, make with what u have!

but my sparco ones worked great!--as long as it's functional cuz my hood was freaking light
