what i want to know is how to get the leaking to stop from under the distributor. I had the valve gasket changed and the entire head of engine redone. Now the leak mest up the cellenoid and starter .How can i tell if the starter is gone. I wondering if someone can give me specific details on how to fix these problem. Its a 1990 ACCORD EX .

 

it sounds like you need a new distibuter input shaft seal, you would probably have to get that from the dealer as i dont think auto parts stores carry that. do you have all the bolts holding on the distributer? sometimes they leak when all the bolts are not used.

 

yeah every things together i was told that it was that peace behind the distributer if thats the input shaft then yeah its all bolted on so maybe i should change the bolts and seal them better ill see what happens thanks
