Default Hooking up Autometer gauges using Greddy sensor

When i bought my ITR, the guy before me had put Autometer carbon series Oil Pressure and Voltage gauges in but never hooked them up. Now i dont know if when he bought the gauges whether or not it came with what was needed, but anyways i didnt have that stuff. Voltage shouldnt be a problem and for oil pressure, i bought a Greddy sensor that hooks in where the oil filter screws in. Since the directions are in japanese, im not sure if i need some hoses or something to plug into this sensor. Does anyone know what i need extra or how to hook this thing up? Thanks.

um, this probably won't work. I'm pretty sure you need to use the sensor that goes with the gauge (ie Greddy sensor with a Greddy gauge). Autometer and Greddy gauges are totally different...

but anyway, one of the wires from the greddy sending unit is the pressure signal, and the others are power and ground. Greddy guages also need swithched and unswitched power, not sure if this matters, but it might explain what all the wires are for coming out of the sending unit.

The calibration between the Greddy sender and the Autometer gauge will not match.

bingo

what you should have done is bought the autometer sending units that go with your gauges.
