Bride Seats
when i search for bride seats, i can find them, but they dont give any info on the rails? do they come with "universal" rails? or do i need to some modding to get them to fit? -Thanks
I believe that when replacing seats, you have to get the rails specific to your car. For example, a couple of days ago, my friend and I attempted to put my old Recaro seats from my CRX into his Civic Si of the same year. They were not even close to fitting correctly, because of the different layout.

Correct.
BUT
If you have a drill and something to cut steel with its very easy to fab up your own. Its hard to explain but its very easily done.
Basically you would take some flat stock steel about 1" wide (3/16") or alum (3/8") and drill holes so the flat stock will bolt to the seat. In my particular case, Sparco in a 89 EF, i bolted the flat stock aluminum going across the seat, not the same direction as the sliders, to the underside of the seat to make the rails. Then i drilled holes for the inner slider to bolt on to the rail. Then i bolted the seat in the car to see where the out slider mounting location was at. To find this i bolted the stock slider in its postion, then used a sharpie to make a line on the rails as to where the slider should be placed. Then i take everything back out and drill the holes for the second slider.
But heres the trick. When installing an aftermarket seat in an EF it will sit angled toward the door of the car. You dont want that, so i used washers, which i made out of the remaining flat stock, and raised the seat until it was level and high enough for me.

I just put S2000 seats in my CRX, and I did something similar to what you said. I went to Ace Hardware and bought $7.80 worth of steel brackets and hardware. I cut the steel, and basically just extended the rails. It worked out very good.

These are about the best pics I have. They are really red once you get near the window or if you are inside the CRX LOL, but surprisingly aren't really noticeable from outside of the car, especially from even a slight distance. Also, they are very comfortable, I spent 4 hours in them on Saturday driving to and from a CRX meet, I really like them.

me neither. I think they'd look better with the interior in it.
