i live in california and it is illegal to own a radar detector. i was wondering if anyone has used the valentine 1 radar detector and how they hid it in a 92 civic hatch. any help would be appreciated.

Radar detectors ARE legal in California.

"Radar detectors are legal, but jammers, or any device which interferes with radar signals, are illegal (28150 VC)."

Are you sure they are? I have an radar, got pulled over for my window tint! Radar was placed on window and visable, and the cop said nothing about it! Damm thing was going off when cop came to my door! But the cop said nothing about it, but gave me an fix-a- ticket for my window tint!

 

yup all DETECTORS are legal in CA....jammers are not...V-1 is awesome, btw...definately worth the $$$

Trying to pick up extra hours to buy that bitch!

 

I'd hop on the Escort 8500 X50 or the new Bel in a second over a V1 though.
