RPM LIMITS
Does anyone know the rpm limit for a 1996 accord lx non-vtec cause I was at wot in 2nd gear at about 6500 and my car was acting like it was going to cut off or something.
Thanks for the help.

not necessarily...back when i had my f22, i typically ran it up to about 6400 so that i would land right in the tourque peak when i shifted...shifting at 5300-5500 will slow you down since you have to get back up to the tourque peak on the shift...

This touches on a topic I've been wondering about...
If my F22a1 makes max hp @5200 and max torque @4000, what should your shifting habits be for max power?
For max power, should I keep the RPMs between 4000 and 5200 at all times?
Is a rolling pull treated different than from a stoplight?
