"90 Accord fuel problem
Wife's '90 Accord LX shut off on her while driving. Wouldn't start for a few minutes. Then ran for a while. Tended to shut off after heating up and seemed to start after it cooled off. It got worse and then the car wouldn't start for a week and a half. Searches and posting here seemed to point to the main relay. Sounded about right since I don't hear the fuel pump priming. Replaced the main relay and nothing. Then this past Sunday it started and ran for an hour. Then wouldn't start again after I shut it off. CEL is on flashing code 14 for IAC. Don't think that's the problem. Replaced it with a junkyard IAC anyways since it was cheap and didn't do a thing. Any thing else I should check before replacing the pump? Thanks!

The Main Relay might cause this problem, but the symptoms you describe could also lead to an ignition switch. You might want to check for voltage at the Idle control valve [yellow/black wire] while cranking. You could also check the fuel pump power lead[yellow wire] at the main relay, it should have power for a couple seconds when the key is turned on.
If these 2 checks are okay the main relay is doing it's job.
To add; I've gotten alot of these cars to start by holding the key in a "just barely" crank position; this would prove ignition switch contacts are bad.
