Agreed. For just about $3k more, you can have my 2004 that only has 4k miles on it.
(see sig for link.)
(shameless plug to sell my s2k)

that seems high for the car. i bought my 02 Blue with 22k miles for $22.5k last june. It was in perfect condition minus some rock chips on the lip but thats expected. It also has upgraded speakers, the rear spolier, and the voodoo shift ****. Also the interior is black (only blue one that came from theredealer this way). just from comparing mine to that, its high. shop around, you will find abetter deal

i got you all beat. Bought mine for 17k its a 00 and the synchro was already replaced. Mileage was 42k. 25k for a 2002?!?! Kinda pricey IMO. Must be a dealer.

I paid 22k for my 00' last may.. Only 17k miles on it, garage kept, and was flawless inside and out. I know the price was over the blue book value but the car was immaculate, couldn't pass it up.
That price seems a bit high but if you think the car is in good shape then go for it.

Actually it's funny you say that because it was primarily the reason. I wanted silverstone with red int and all I was finding was silverstone\black. I was close to settling for the silverstone\black and then the silverstone\red came around and I got on it.

i personally wouldn't but the price can be justified because you got what you wanted in mint condition.

actually a lot of the advertised s2 are about that much. Altough is true you could find a better deal. i found 03, with 3k miles, with a hard top, for 25,999. When i first got mine i got 01, with 12k miles. with the accesories. with the exception of the hard top for 22,000. just look around but if you can do with a new one go for it.
If you plan to keep the car forever then it's "ok" to buy a salvage title, granted you have it checked out first, but if you plan to sell it down the road then it's going to be a bit tough. Salage titles are perfect for track\project cars but not an everyday driver that you may end up selling in 2-3 years.
